I travel alone and it was hard to find a place to sleep for less money. It's a simple place, just a bed and a sink in the room, a window to the traffic, a shower to share, clean. It's possible to have a simple breakfast. It's ok if you're not having the time to look for something else.
One of the reasons I book this hotel was the check-out-time at noon. Although they wanted me to leave the room at 11. It was not nice, start arguing about this, but at the end, they said ok!

The setting was quite good within easy reach of Hlemmur.

The hotel is clean and is superb base for budget stay. Overall the room is reasonably large, warm and includes central heating, a writing table and a private entrance. Private bathroom is clean. Many thanks to attentive staff for providing us with a comfortable stay. The location is great and perfect, relatively near a Lutheran parish church. Area is fairly nice and just next door to restaurant downstairs, downtown and convenience stores, and harbor.

The hotel is definitely recommended to all. It is an absolutely great property located in Reykjavik 101 district close enough to the airport shuttle bus stop. The location is particularly good and magnificent, very close to the main shopping street😃🙂

staff was very helpful
price of room to the received value was out of proportion. 70 euros for just a bed & toilet access is overpriced.

We loved the fantastic location, right in the heart of Reykjavik! The room was clean, and having access to the kitchen was a bonus, especially with our kid along. It.
In my wife's opinion, the noise from the street was disruptive at night. For families with children, it would be great to have soundproof rooms.

Clean, very well located on the main street, 5 minute walk to the main attractions in town
Absolutely no frills. It has absolutely no soul, so do not stay here if you want to feel in any way inspired!

Consider bringing your own linens to ensure cleanliness during your stay, as previous guests have noted issues with bed hygiene.

Clean and well organised.
The only downside was the terrible mattress. Zero bank support. I don't think I've ever slept on a such a soft mattress.
